InGenesis is currently seeking a Registered Nurse / RN - Psychiatric to work with our client. In this role, you will evaluate the nursing/medical needs of institutionalized patients and provide the necessary care.

Job Duties/Responsibilities/Functions (including but not limited to):

• Provide professional nursing care to psychiatric and developmentally disabled patients.
• Initiate and direct implementation of the nursing care plan.
• Observe and document patient behavior, condition & responses to the care plan.
• Direct and provide guidance to lower-level healthcare staff on assigned shifts.
• Monitor LPN medication administration, documentation, patient care & operation of medical equipment.
• Assist in the orientation and training of new nursing services employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio as issued by the Board of Nursing.
• Biennial renewal of licensure as a registered nurse.
• Current immunizations.
• Current BLS certification.
