Summary

Radar upgrade efforts for the TSS TPS-43/70/72/75/78 family of radars.


Essential Functions

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.


Perform Site Surveys at radar installation sites, includes site survey documentation, photos, and out-brief to Customer. Identify local suppliers as required based on survey data.

Well versed in Radar microwave functions as well as IF and digital circuits.

Experience troubleshooting circuit functions.

Familiar with IFF as well as Mode S, national secure mode and Mode 4.

Experience with heat exchanger systems, functions and maintenance.

Versed in atmospheric effects on RF propagation.

Familiar with corrosion effects on various metal surfaces and restoration.

Experience with Overhaul efforts on major electronics assemblages.


Supervision Received

This position reports directly to the VP of Engineering


Competency or position requirements

Word, Excel, VISIO, and Power Point skills are required

Education and Experience

Bachelor degree preferred

Ten (10) years of related technical experience.

Must be familiar with Microsoft Office products for report creation and updating.

Thorough knowledge of production planning processes and relation to support team to achieve maximum productivity.


Physical Factors

This position is an indoor nonsmoking facility, with several individual offices, work benches and a warehouse.


WORK SCHEDULE

This full-time position that typically works during our standard business hours when not traveling.

There is the possibility of domestic and international travel of 50-100% required with this position. Candidate must have a valid passport or able to obtain one.
