Position Highlights:
  • Work location: Bellin Hospital, 744 S. Webster Ave, Green Bay, WI 54301
  • Work environment: Our Ortho/Neuro Unit is a 30 bed unit with a cohesive team environment that assists with elective hip and knee replacements; emergent surgeries (i.e. hip fractures); spine, neck, and brain surgeries; joint infection surgeries; plus overflow patients as needed. Our typical patient to nurse rations are 1:4 on day and pm shifts, and 1:5-6 on night shift.
  • Salary range is based on relevant years of experience.
Shift Hours:

Part-time or Full-time, opportunity to work both 8-hour and/or 12-hour shifts

Job Description:

Responsible and accountable for providing quality professional nursing care to patients and their families and significant others adhering to the WI Nurse Practice Act, Administrative Code of the WI Board of Nursing, and/or appropriate nursing standards governing nursing in the state of practice, the ANA Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice, the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses and Bellin Health Policies and Procedures. The responsibility includes providing a safe environment for patients, families, staff, and visitors and working collaboratively with a critical care team to provide the best outcomes for the patient in a fast-paced environment. Community involvement and collaboration is encouraged. Continuous educational opportunities to advance skills and knowledge to progress in your career.

Qualifications:

Wisconsin RN license required.

BLS - prior to providing independent patient care and maintained. NIHSS - National Institute of Health Stroke Certification obtained prior to providing independent patient care and maintained.
