The OpportunityThe Assistant General Counsel, Global Trade Compliance is responsible for providing strategic and legal guidance regarding Marvell's trade compliance program and leading a global team of professionals responsible for trade compliance and trade operations. This role reports directly to the Vice President, Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer, and will be an integral part of the Ethics and Compliance team responsible for developing and enhancing Marvell's international trade compliance and related programs. This role will partner with many high-level stakeholders to provide guidance on trade compliance regulations, enabling the business to navigate complex trade regulatory landscapes in a compliant and pragmatic way.
This role is responsible for providing strategic and legal guidance regarding Marvell's global trade compliance program.This includes ensuring compliance with the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), Office of Foreign Asset Controls (OFAC) regulations and programs, economic and trade sanctions programs, Trade Agreement Act (TAA), Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations, and other applicable import/export laws and regulations.The role will also provide legal advice and develop compliance programs to comply with emerging laws, including the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act, and partner with stakeholders to design and implement supply chain and third-party due diligence programs.Additionally, this is a management position with day-to-day responsibility for managing Marvell's Global Trade Compliance team.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)155,040 - 232,200, $ per annum
The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
