Summary

The Contract Analyst is an entry-level professional who will work under general direction and guidance within standard processes for non-routine tasks. Provides advice to CAE USA's project teams on contract management and policy compliance matters.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for data entry into the contract data management system by inputting/compartmentalizing various Contracts documents/data.
  • Assist with initiating, tracking and monitoring contract changes, deliverables, correspondence and risks, and maintaining associated documentation.
  • Provide on-going support using standardized processes and tools to blend contract compliance with commercial know-how and practicality, focusing on contract compliance and risk mitigation, protecting and enhancing margins.
  • Assist with supporting the management of government contracts in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and customer requirements.
  • Assist with providing on-site advice to CAE USA's business units and project teams on contract management and policy compliance matters.
  • Support senior team members with the facilitation and management of multiple engagements.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions.
  • Ensure all systems are current, accurate, and complete with contract related data.
  • Assist with identifying risks and issues. Recommend alternatives that lead to the best solution.
  • Assist with reviewing and managing contractual obligations of the parties and provide continual review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met.
  • Prepare and disseminate information regarding contract status, compliance, modifications, etc.
  • Assist with implementation of CM processes relative to data integrity and retention.
  • Support the development and integration of contract management tools, templates, methods and processes for the engagement.
  • Achieve a reasonable level of understanding of CAE USA's major business areas and systems.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance discipline
  • Must be well organized, self-motivated, willing to work in a team environment, be able to prioritize tasking and perform in a multi-tasked and dynamic environment
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written), customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong MS Office skills

Security Responsibilities

Must complywith all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.

  • Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.

Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Must have the ability to travel and work overtime as necessary.
  • Must be able to sit and operate a personal computer for long periods of time
  • Minimal CONUS/OCONUS travel may be required
