Job Description:
This position supports the Navy at Naval Sea Systems Command in its mission of providing research and development, acquisition, and life cycle support for Ashore and Afloat equipment and systems. As a Mid-level Analyst, you will supervise operations, direct technical and management procedures, and conduct planning and reporting.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Mid-level Analyst, you will:

Function as the overall lead, manager, and administrator for the contract effort.

Supervise operations, direct technical and management procedures, and conduct planning and execution reporting.

Oversee and control all financial and administrative aspects of the effort with respect to contract requirements.

Assist with the development of program roadmaps, plans, and schedules to meet the goals and objectives of USN programs

Assist with the development of metrics to monitor progress against programmatic goals and objectives.

Assess and provide information on new and existing procurement policies and procedures, and assist in the development, review, and updating of procurement contract documentation.
Education/Skills/Qualifications:

At least half of the years of experience in program management of government contracts involving supervision of technical, program, and administrative personnel to complete tasks relating to the design, development, integration and delivery of complex Navy systems.

Hold a DoD acquisition background with respect to executing acquisition category (ACAT) I-IV levels and Abbreviated Acquisition Programs (AAPs) in addition to familiarity with Department of the Navy (DoN) program office business practices.
