What you will be responsible for:

THE ROLE

Using full judgment and discretion, works as the main point of contact for the Defined Contribution (DC) Specialists team in building and executing in targeted markets to bring DC expertise to the Defined Contribution Investment clients. Clients include consultants, financial advisors, platform retirement specialists, and other centers of influence. The prime objective is to help establish and strengthen both new and existing relationships resulting in increased sales and market share in the DC opportunity space.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Partner with three DC Specialists Directors to define and execute a business plan to uncover new relationships and strengthen existing relationships by increasing market share by highlighting MFS DCI capabilities across all market segments.
  • This will be done by partnering and targeting senior retirement advisors that focus on large and mega market DC plans with an average AUM of over a billion, as content experts.
  • Demonstrate strong expertise and knowledge in the DC marketplace along with strong working knowledge of capital markets and MFS strategies across multi-vehicles to help drive sales across the targeted geographical areas.
  • Work closely with the DC global relations team to help strategically take advantage of key opportunities with various centers of influences and key partners along with providing global relations client perspectives to create more opportunity for deeper alignment
  • Partner closely with the Senior Leadership of distribution including DC and Retail to make sure our strategy with DC aligns with the client's needs.
  • Travel as needed to attend and present at key conferences and meetings to help promote MFS solutions in the DC space.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's Degree or preferred experience
  • Minimum 6-8+ years Industry Sales Experience
  • Minimum 5 years MFS or Asset Management Sales Experience
  • Minimum 3 years Defined Contribution experience
  • Strong Presentation & Communication Skills
  • FINRA Series 6 & 63
