Job Description
Float CMA – Podiatry Pay & Perks:

- Schedule four 10-hr shifts, Mon-Fri, 7:15am-5:45pm, with a Sat morning rotation 8am-12pm

- Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program required
- CPR certification required
- One-year experience in internal medicine and/or family practice highly preferred
- Certification with American Association of Medical Assistants highly preferred
- Prior Epic experience preferred
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality required
- Rooms patients; assists in procedures; schedules tests/procedures; administers injections; preps charts and abstracts results; cleans and stocks rooms; any may assist with autoclaving.
- Monitors and responds to MyChart requests, result notes, unviewed results, unread message alerts, etc.
- Completes stat prior authorizations and treatment visits for patients who may need a blood pressure check, ear lavage, immunization, etc.
- Works the Epic In Basket and responds to non-symptom based calls from patients regarding refill requests, paperwork, immunization questions, etc.
