What you will be responsible for:

THE ROLE:

Using discretion and judgment, works with the Global Distribution Management team to develop, implement and analyze incentive plans, structures and processes across Global Distribution to optimize effectiveness and accuracy. Manage and monitor global performance measurement framework and provide consulting on measurement, attribution, and payment related to corporate and individual goals/objectives. Provide actionable insights and data to distribution management.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of incentive structures and processes for client facing Distribution employees across Global Distribution. Work collaboratively across departments including Distribution Finance, Legal/Compliance and Human Resources to provide market competitiveness and reporting requirements.
  • Assist with the update of monthly/quarterly management reports, analytics, and insights for distribution management, providing them with sales/compensation/market trend and conditions information.
  • Assist in overseeing the implementation of the Global Performance measurement framework including the semi-annual Retail DSP and Institutional processes across Global Distribution; develop and produce semi-annual DSP reports, participate in semi-annual meetings as necessary and communicate back to Corporate Finance DSP amounts by employee.
  • Provides assistance in the development, maintenance, and distribution of commission plan documents across Global Distribution.
  • Assist with producing commission exhibits for all new commissioned employees, working with HR and business unit to determine exact commission rates and guarantees, as applicable.
  • Work with appropriate parties to resolve one-off compensation adjustments and disputes (i.e. joint DC sale, Institutional sale on a retail platform, etc.).
  • Create and communicate an incentive compensation calendar for Client Facing Distribution employees. Meets with individual sales employees to explain commission plan and answer questions and concerns.
  • Create and maintain standard commission memos across departments within Global Distribution and track commission guarantees. Also maintain commission letters for required employees (MIL, NY and CA residents).
  • Assists on special projects and assume additional responsibilities as requested.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum of five to seven years of industry and related experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical and organizational skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities.
  • Advanced MS Excel and Excel modeling skills.
  • Preferred accounting/finance background.
  • Preferred experience with business system usage - Financial, Micro Strategy/BI reports, Sales Force, and database management a plus.
