The Division of Cardiology, within the Department of Internal Medicine, is seeking a Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator who plans, develops, and oversees the day-to-day clinical activities for clinical trials and/or other medical research programs in accordance with the research parameters established by the investigator. Develops and administers operating procedures for the project, coordinates project funding and day-to-day interactions with associated departments and agencies, and oversees patient recruitment, education, and administration. Coordinates implementation and execution of study protocol, and oversees all aspects of the provision of patient care to participants, in compliance with protocol requirements. Works closely with visionary and inspiring physicians.
The Department of Internal Medicine is a large, progressive department with a diverse staff working in dedicated teams to provide quality work in an organized, effective and efficient manner through innovation, training, and education. Associate's degree in Nursing; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Certification/Licensure: State of New Mexico Licensed Registered Nurse or licensure pending as documented by temporary licensure OR current RN licensure from a state participating in the multistate privilege to practice compact with New Mexico.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
