Job Description

About Bunker Hill Community College:

is a multi-campus institution with vibrant, urban campuses in Boston, Massachusetts, in nearby Chelsea, Massachusetts, and at several satellites and instructional sites throughout the Greater Boston area. Job Description:

  • Plan, prep and instruct WFD students in culinary programs
  • Teach skills required to pass Serv Safe and other culinary instructional programs in English and Spanish
  • Be responsible for organization and clean-up of kitchen facilities as directed
  • Manage certification process and online portals for certificates and renewal
  • Support student learning with virtual or on-site availability
  • Work with divisions leadership and staff to plan and offer programs in WFD or community education
  • Work faculty and staff in other divisions to coordinate space usage and materials


Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of culinary back of the house experience
  • All relevant certifications for teaching such as Serv Safe Instructor certification
  • Industry standard culinary degree or certificate and/or BA or BS preferred
  • Teaching experienced preferred


Additional Information:

Hourly rate: $45/hr. @ 10/hr. per week
