Full-time 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week), Days, Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm

Job Description: Bellin Health is looking for a highly engaged and driven speech therapist specialized in pediatrics interested in a job with the opportunity to advance professionally. We are seeking someone who will contribute to our highly engaged culture driven to practice at the top of our scope of practice by utilizing the most evidence-based care. The position is specifically targeting a professional with an aspiration for lifelong learning. This includes one on one mentorship opportunities working closely with experienced and skilled therapist with specialty training. All of our new team members are sponsored with paid time to complete specialty track coursework during their first year of employment to refine and enhance their skill set. Regular employees also are granted a subscription to MedBridge which allows for additional continuing education opportunities. The position at our Marinette location would include working with a therapy team that consists of speech, occupational and physical therapists. The speech therapist at this location would have a caseload including both pediatric and adult patients. This individual would be responsible for treatment, marketing and development of speech outpatient services. The Marinette clinic houses many specialty service lines giving the speech therapist many opportunities for growth and treatment in a team-based setting. Responsible and accountable for independently providing quality professional speech therapy services to patients and their families and significant others adhering to the Wisconsin Speech Therapy Practice Act and Bellin Health Policies and Procedures. The responsibility includes providing a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors and working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary health care team to provide the best outcomes for the patient. Performs and documents speech evaluations and swallow studies, treatments, and discharge evaluations of patients according to established patient goals consistent with physician referrals. Qualifications: Wisconsin State Speech Language pathologist license or proof currently in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) obtaining Clinical Competency Certificate (CCC) and Wisconsin State license within one year of hire required; Home Health Only - Wisconsin driver's license and automobile liability insurance required; CPR certification within three months of hire into the position.
