The Opportunity

Automotive EMC expert is responsible for system solutions to meet various industry EMC/ESD requirements.

Within a concurrent environment, the individual will be part of a larger team with technical marketing, chip architect, ASIC designer, and other SI/PI engineers in the creation of next-generation high-speed automotive products.

The candidate will also participate in the definition of a chip, package, and PCB design.

The successful candidate will be playing a leading role to instruct and mentor the internal team to take and overcome ever-changing EMC/ESD challenges.

In addition, the position is also responsible for hardware reference design per application requirement.

Consults with and provides guidance to senior management and a number of departments on advanced technical issues

Requirements:

Must be an industry-recognized EMC expert specialized in the automotive field.

In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in solving modern automotive EMC issues.

Familiar with various automotive EMC requirements from OEM and Tier 1's

MS in Electrical Engineering plus 8+ practical experience.

Solid understanding of electromagnetic theory.

Knowledge of modern digital signal processing techniques for data communication systems.

A team player with good oral and written communication skills, ability to work in a cross-functional team

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

161,360 - 241,700, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
