The Opportunity

The Infrastructure Processor group within Marvell develops cutting-edge SOCs and processors in advanced process nodes for the largest telecommunications companies in the world. We develop the SOCs for the growing wireless markets. We are looking for motivated candidates who seek opportunities for professional growth and the chance to work in a dynamic organization with a world-class team in our Marlborough, MA Design Center. This role is for an intern who will join a diverse hardware and software group that owns the development and execution of silicon validation of multi-core ARM processors with high-speed SERDES. The silicon products tested include ARM processors and high-speed interfaces that support various protocols including Ethernet, PCIe, USB, DDR, SD, Flash, etc.

Job Responsibilities:

* Contribute to several areas of product validation including functional, electrical, and stress tests.

* Develop validation environment, test plans, test scripts, and software to test SOC functions.

* Interact as needed with IP, Analog, RTL, firmware/SW and other teams to identify test requirements for SOC IOs, interfaces, and internal functions.

* Debug issues related to SOC functions and isolate design, test setup and specification issues.

Requirements:

* Currently pursuing BS or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent

* Experience with scripting and programming languages such as C and Python

* Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail to debug issues

* Self-driven individual who can collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive results

* Good verbal and written communication skills
