As a Navy Program Analyst, you will apply your knowledge and program/project planning assistance to support the Naval Sea Systems Command’s (NAVSEA) located at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC. This opening is contingent upon contract award.
In this role, you will:
Provide subject matter expertise as part of our team
Work closely with leadership, Project Managers, and other analysts to identify challenges and develop solutions
Provide professional, technical, program/project, advisory and administrative support
Support planning and execution of program and project efforts
Create, develop, and maintain Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&Ms)
Provide metrics and status reporting
Provide data and information management
Assist with developing, reviewing, updating, and maintaining planning and management strategies, activities, documents, and communications
Provide recommendations for continuous improvement
Maintain reporting systems and processes
Schedule meetings with stakeholders
Interact with SES-level leadership, as required
Teleworking is allowed for this position, however, it is desired that candidates be located in or around the National Capital Region (Washington, DC area).
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you have:
An active DoD Secret security clearance
A bachelor’s degree (or experience will be accepted in lieu of degree)
5 years of overall experience
2 years of experience working with DoD organizations
Experience working in fast paced environments
Experience working in large groups
Excellent oral and written communications skills
