Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center is hiring a1st shift, full- time Veterinary Assistant to join our Radiologyteam in Waukesha, WI.

About WVRC:WVRC, Waukesha is recognized as a certified Level 1 Emergency and Critical Care Facility by the Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Society (VECCS).

We have three hospital locations: Waukesha, Racine and Grafton alldedicated to providing patients, clients, and referring veterinarians the highest quality emergency and specialty veterinary medical care. Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • Restraining of patients while assisting with imaging and procedures
  • Facilitating ultrasound appointments according to the daily schedule and case load
  • Assisting the Imaging Technologists in sending out radiographs and images for review, maintaining the imaging database, and filing records.
  • Laundry & cleaning, stocking treatment areas
  • Taking patients outside and feeding patients
  • Client Communications
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Commitment to develop long- term relationships with colleagues, clients, and the community
  • Advocate for patient care
  • Self- motivated with a passion for veterinary medicine
  • Can multi- task and thrive in a fast- pace environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Working Schedule:Monday throughFriday from 8AM - 4PM
