What you will be responsible for:

This is a mid-level Programmer Analyst position on the Data Services team. The candidate should have a strong technical background and be able to understand complex data structures such as relational databases, data warehouses, and data lakes. The candidate must be able to work with business partners and analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions using various applications including Informatica PowerCenter, Data Quality, and Master Data Management.

Ideally the candidate will be comfortable administering Informatica applications on a Windows back end and assist with application upgrades and maintenance.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Carries out programming functions: Writes, debugs, and tests code following best practices in Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Data Quality and Informatica MDM.
  • Meets with business users and analysts to define systems needs and to design applications.
  • Analyzes user needs and develops project specifications with users.
  • Provide production support for existing application code and application administration.
  • Participates in On-call rotation with other members of the Data Services team.
  • Maintains various databases.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as requested.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Mathematics or equivalent.
  • Five + years programming experience preferred; Knowledge and experience in software development lifecycle methodology.
  • ETL development experience on Informatica PowerCenter, Data Quality, and/or Intelligent Cloud Services.
  • Skills in one or more of the following preferred: SQL, MDM, Python, scripting such as Perl.
  • Relational database knowledge required. Experience with Oracle and SQL Server preferred.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills required.
  • Strong analytical skills required.
  • Knowledge of financial services industry preferred.
