As a Facilities Technician at Arete, you are responsible for routine building maintenance including but not limited to minor drywall patching and paint, touch up of walls, hanging of pictures/whiteboards/bulletin boards, spot cleaning of carpets, caulking, replacing ceiling tiles, installing light bulbs, changing ballasts, basic plumbing (cleaning drains, replacing faucets/toilets). Assembling furniture and distributing the furniture to offices for setup. Maintaining stock rooms, receiving shipments, stocking shelves, rotating stock, removing trash, general upkeep of the office spaces. Monitoring outside contractor work ensuring compliance with all local and state regulations while maintaining the security integrity of the spaces. Implementing safe working practices and assist with continual monitoring and adaptation of company safety policies. Additional Duties as assigned. This position is located at our office in Northridge, CA. This is a non-exempt full-time position.

The salary range for this role is $42,000 to $55,000; however, Arete considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to: the position and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
Other Requirements
U.S. citizenship is required to meet position eligibility.
Selected applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Successful passage of a criminal background screen is required to meet position eligibility. Arete will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring.
Successful passage of a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug test is required to meet position eligibility.
