Job Description

Prosser (), a PRIME AE Group company, an integrated planning and engineering firm supporting clients in several diverse markets including the Department of Defense, Transportation, Healthcare, Higher Education, Commercial, Retail, and Residential, is seeking a Landscape Architect in Jacksonville, FL. In joining with PRIME AE Group, Inc. (), Prosser has become part of a multi-faceted and rapidly growing architectural and engineering firm with 19 office locations and over 475+ employees throughout the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, and Southeast and Northeast areas.

We are seeking a creative and design-oriented Landscape Architect to add to our team to work in a collaborative atmosphere and exhibit a passion for design, problem solving and project implementation. Successful candidates will be capable of advancing project vision through concept, design development and implementation phases. Must be self-motivated and willing to learn and grow.

Description of Duties:

  • Produce landscape architectural designs, construction drawings, and accurate project detailing for various types of landscape architectural projects.
  • Work in collaborative integrated teams of professionals that include civil engineers, architects, planners, and transportation engineers.
  • Site Due Diligence, research, and site analysis.
  • Produce graphic presentations, plans, sections, elevations, and the like.
  • Coordination with local jurisdictions, agencies, and consultants.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture.
  • Ideal candidate will have completed an internship in a professional office or study abroad program in the design field and have 1-2 years professional experience.
  • Team Orientation & Interpersonal - motivated team-player with ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships.
  • Communication - able to effectively and persuasively express self, using language and grammar in a professional manner.
  • Analytical Problem-Solving & Decision Making - able to research, analyze, identify viable options, draw sound conclusions, present findings, and make thoughtful recommendations related to project delivery, proposed project approaches and design solutions.
  • Organization & Time Management - able to plan, schedule and organize time to achieve the directives issued by leadership.
  • Strong master planning, visionary and design skills
  • AutoCAD proficiency.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Familiarity with Sketchup.
  • Ability to work and collaborate with others.
  • Fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing).
  • Microsoft Office.
  • Graphic Skills.
