OVERVIEW
We are currently searching for a skilled professional to join a well-known client's team in California as a Product Architect. This remote role will assure that individual application projects remain in line with business needs and requirements in their structure and function. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Establish and maintain technology standards
  • Evaluate and direct new technology designs
  • Provide technical architectural expertise, play a vital role in designing, enhancing, implementing, and scaling application platforms
  • Solve technology challenges in internal enterprise applications and create solutions that will solve problems that have not yet been fully formulated
  • Serve as an expert in software architecture as it relates to application integration in order to build complete systems
  • Work with the product leadership team to translate business requirements into application design that fit the overall business architecture
  • Partner with product and technology subject-matter experts to elicit and translate business requirements into technological solutions
  • Recommend and advocate target architecture, architecture strategy, vision, principles, and processes
  • Propose technical solutions that align with the company's overall objectives to senior leadership
  • Consult on architecture-related concerns and provide strategic direction/alignment to overall software Strategy
  • Survey the market landscape for new concepts, emerging technology, architecture, and industry developments
  • Work with vendors as needed for components/solutions
  • Analyze and resolve architecture-related issues/problems
  • Collaborate among other solution and/or hardware/software architects to provide a consensus-based scalable and adaptable architectural solution
  • Promote the use of a shared hardware, infrastructure, and applications to reduce costs and improve how information flows

EXPERIENCE
  • Detailed knowledge of software engineering concepts, principles, and languages applicable to the product line supporting
  • General knowledge of computer aided software engineering principle and systems required
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong analytical skills to effectively review and analyze technical problems
  • Knowledge of structure analysis techniques
  • Information Security and Data Privacy fundamentals
  • Ability to develop novel solution approaches

EDUCATION
  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science required
