Job Title: General Maintenance Worker; M - F, 6am to 2pm.

Job Summary: Perform general maintenance on all equipment and building structures as needed.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Changing and properly disposing of light bulbs.
  • Making repairs to restroom equipment (toilet automatic flushers, automatic sink faucets).
  • Making repairs to the water fountains.
  • Assist with the maintenance of site equipment and building structure.
  • Assist with the maintenance and repairs of the building air systems on the site.
  • Assist with the troubleshooting of all equipment on site.
  • Perform preventive maintenance of all equipment on site.
  • Institute the corrective action and/or inform his supervisor on any deficiencies found in the course of performing the job.
  • Monitor Subcontractors in their task.
  • Perform other task as directed by his Supervisor.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Be able to demonstrate practical knowledge of light Electrical and HVAC equipment.
  • Be able to demonstrate practical knowledge of Tools in trade.
  • General knowledge of basic carpentry and drywall repairs.
  • General knowledge of basic plumbing and fixture repairs.
  • Be able to climb ladders and work at heights.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI w/Poly

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Heavy physical effort (lift/carry up to 50 lbs)
  • Prolong, extensive or considerable standing/walking.
  • Push / pull or move / lift equipment, supplies, parts.
  • Manual dexterity and mobility
  • Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling and crouching.
