Job Description

Product Manager

Agility Recovery is the most comprehensive provider of end-to-end business continuity solutions for organizations. We offer more than 30 years' experience helping professionals with risk management, incident management, building business continuity plans, and recovering from disasters. Our software and services provide the only integrated business continuity solution that helps organizations plan, train, test, alert, and recover from any type of business disruption - all from one central platform. We are there for companies when they need us most.

Are you looking to have a truly meaningful impact on an organization? Do you want the freedom and room to innovate but with the security that comes from working for an industry leader?

Agility is seeking a Product Manager who will lead the entire product lifecycle from identifying opportunities through new product launch and ongoing management. We want you to help us reach our full growth potential as a company through product innovation. We are not talking about moving the occasional button or making that button a different color, we need someone to bring creative and new ideas.

Innovation is the primary focus of this role. As the Product Manager, you will be creating and working closely with product councils, conducting research, conducting Win/Loss calls, analyzing sale and CS data, and engaging with the executive team to identify, prioritize and define new product ideas. You will work closely with UI designers to bring new concepts to life and to gather feedback.

You will collaborate closely with Product Marketing Manager to prepare/guide marketing and sales in preparing and executing successful product launches.

This role also covers the execution phase of creating new products. This involves collaborating with Product Owners, UI Designers, and Engineering leaders.

In this role, you will:

  • Gather market intelligence and market opportunities (new products and major directions/super features for existing products) via Win/Loss Calls, Product Council sessions and phone calls with thought leaders.
  • Discover and validate opportunities for new products and major feature enhancements by conducting research, synthesizing input from Product Councils, Win/Loss calls, and listening to internal teams at Agility and especially leveraging sales/CS data.
  • Develop financial models/projections for high potential opportunities, partnering with Sales and Finance for specific and accurate projections and ROI.
  • Collaborate with Engineering leadership to scope and prioritize work.
  • Partner closely with the Product Marketing Manager and marketing for early transfer of knowledge on future products, value propositions, pricing/packaging, role in the suite, etc.
  • Develop feature descriptions in collaboration with UI/UX Designers, Product Owner, Technical Architects, and an abundance of customer input. Where possible, rely heavily on visual design approaches.
  • Develop the Marketing Handoff Document and partner closely with the Product Marketing Manager and iterate with the Marketing team.
  • Manage and guide the cross-functional workstreams (Marketing, Sales, and Training) to prepare for the Go-To-Market launch and be the product evangelist.
  • Contribute to and present Product Roadmaps internally and externally.
  • Prepare and review product management team metrics monthly for suggested improvements and prepare for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)

Requirements:

  • Consulting experience and/or MBA
  • A track record of forming strong working relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to drive results directly and in a cross-functional setting
  • Strong executive presence
  • Possess a humble demeanor with a penchant for asking insightful questions
  • Passion for building world-class software solutions

Nice to Haves Skills & Qualifications:

  • Product Owner experience
  • Experience at a SaaS company
  • Experience at a start up
