Job Title: Licensed Journeyman Plumber (FBI HQ)

Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services is seeking a Licensed Journeyman Plumber in Washington, DC

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act competently during emergencies.
  • Use a variety of power tools hand tools and measuring devices/meters to perform job function.
  • Schedule and perform preventive maintenance on various types plumbing equipment.
  • Read and comply with work orders concerning service, modification, or installation of equipment.
  • Monitor, identify and respond promptly to malfunctioning of equipment.
  • Work well in a team environment.
  • Diagnose and resolve plumbing related issues.
  • Respond to emergency service calls promptly.
  • Run copper, steel and PVC water pipes for sewer lines, drainage systems and other plumbing systems. Cut thread lines, connect valves and lines as needed.
  • Read blueprint, building plans and schematics as required.
  • Respond to and repair emergency leaks promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a Journeyman Plumber License
  • 7+ years of experience
  • Must be able to obtain a TS Clearance
  • Must be able to work Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm and evenings and weekends when needed

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to walk, stand, and lift heavy objects for an extended amount of time.
