Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Prescott, Arizona campus is hiring an Adjunct Faculty - Aeronautical Science Ground School to support the Department of Aeronautical Science. Prescott is a mile-high city and its climate reflects seasonable weather excellent for flying. Daytime averages are 80F in the summer and 45F in the winter. The university is a small, private, residential university in the mountains of Arizona with approximately 3,500 students. Specific duties include instruction in Airplane and/ or Helicopter Ground Schools. The teaching load normally consists of one or two three-credit hour courses per semester plus associated office hours available to students.Qualifications
The desired candidate has a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or the appropriate certifications and experience.
Candidate must possess the appropriate FAA Flight Instructor and/or Ground Instructor Certificates and Ratings.
