Job Summary:

Responsible for database administration, data consolidation, collecting and analyzing data and reporting results based on needs of end users from Deltek Costpoint in CER report writer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Must have a high level of expertise and experience utilizing Deltek's Costpoint Data Dictionary and CER/COGNOS Reporting.
  • Must be able to collaborate with various function teams such as accounting, finance, contracts, IT to achieve needed information for business results.
  • Must be able to gather requirements, develop and manipulate reports by translating raw data from various sources into meaningful reports.
  • Must be able to understand report objectives and design and develop ad-hoc reports
  • Must be able to assist with the review and consolidation of existing reports and be able to "repair" reports that have stopped working due to changes in the Costpoint system.
  • Should be able to train users in the operation and scheduling of reports.
  • Looking for special software skills utilizing MS-Access, Excel, SQL, MS Project Scheduling, MPM EVMS, Pro-prier Planning or similar software tools.
  • Budgeting and Planning Software Implementation and Maintenance a Plus.

Educational/Training Requirements:

  • B.S. degree in Accounting required
  • M.S. degree in Business preferred
  • 10 years related experience in writing CER/COGNOS reports

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Must possess good analytical skills.
  • Good computer skills, i.e., Word, Excel. etc.
  • Good oral and written communication skills required.
  • Data Gathering, Analysis, Corrective Actions, and Reporting.
  • Deltek/Costpoint experience required

Work Environment:

  • Office environment

Physical Demands:

  • Job is mostly sedentary in nature with repetitive computer work required.
