Position Summary:
Assist the Plant Supervisor in coordinating activities and daily operational needs of associated equipment. Share new ideas for energy cost savings and more effective ways of operations. Maintain daily operational logs as requested and perform preventive maintenance on equipment as directed including daily chemical testing of all associated equipment.
Qualifications:
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
Stationary Engineer License Illinois within 1 year and Driver's License upon hire.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Three (3) years Power Plant Operations HVAC Experience. Must have at least 3rd Class Engineers license and previous experience in related field.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to perform the following duties. Start and stop all equipment using the BAS. Perform chemical testing on all associated equipment and calibrate blowdown controllers. Clear and reset alarm conditions on the pneumatic tube system. Drain and fill all equipment as needed. Know locations of power plant associated equipment and systems supported by the plant.
