Job Title: Sr Manager, Procurement

Job Summary:

EMCOR Facilities Services seeks a Senior Manager, Procurement in Tempe, Arizona. This position is responsible for the establishment and management of a centralized procurement department, with the accountability for vendor engagement, performance, procurement, and compliance. Focus on strategic sourcing and consolidation of vendor network while maintaining performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design policies and procedures required to centralize strategic sourcing, procurement, and compliance functions including process, people, and systems.
  • Design concept enhancements to computer operating system that backs up the strategic sourcing and procurement model.
  • Interact with operations department with regards to the supply of sub-contractor vendors.
  • Work with a centralized compliance team managing and documenting legal compliance, insurance, and taxation requirements for the sub-contracting vendors used by the company at any given time.
  • Establish and manage a centralized procurement team to source and negotiate best price and delivery of products and services used by the company.
  • Working safely is a condition of employment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Facilities, Logistics or Business. MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 7+ years' experience in a $200 + million vendor/supplier environment.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience of procurement team management.
  • Experience with Procurement Software tools or contractual vendor score card
  • Proficient with Microsoft office including excel and word
  • Facilities management thinking.
