Job Title: Equipment Operator

Job Description:

This is highly skilled work in the operation of a variety of heavy and complex equipment. Work involves responsibility for the safe and efficient /high production operation heavy equipment. Work is reviewed by a supervisor through inspection of work while in progress and upon completion.

Duties:

* Operates heavy construction equipment including bulldozer and front-end loaders.

* Must be team oriented.

* Performs light maintenance and servicing work in connection with the operation of heavy equipment.

Additional Requirements:

* High school diploma from an accredited school or its equivalent.

* Must possess and maintain a valid phone number and valid driver's license.

*Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the operation of various construction and maintenance equipment.

* Pass pre-employment and random drug screens.

Working Environment & Physical Demands

• Occasional lifting of items weighting a maximum of 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb stairwells up to 15 levels high.
• Ability to ascend and descend ladders (step, extension, cage) up to 24' high.
• Able to walk at a normal pace for up to 15 continuous minutes.
• Able to work from a standing position for 8-12 hours.
• Ability to twist and bend on a recurring basis.
• Weather conditions that can be expected are wet, humid, heat and cold, bright/dim light, traffic, heights, dusts, and pollen.
• The job requires normal visual acuity, field vision, hearing, speaking, color perception, sense of smell, depth perception, and texture perception.
• Some environments are in a high noise and vibrating area.
