SUMMARY


The Administrative Assistant is responsible for corporate building reception as well as providing day to day support to our HR department.The position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Administrator of First Impressions
  2. Manage security badges and name plates
  3. Update media signs and communications
  4. Prepare vouchers for vendor invoices
  5. Maintain reports and various records
  6. Preparing new-employee files and maintain employee files as to ensure accuracy and compliance
  7. Review claims and documentation regarding unemployment
  8. Provide support for the Engagement Committee
  9. Assist with other administrative duties and projects as necessary


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

There are no supervisory responsibilities associated with this role


QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED; at least intermediate office skills including Microsoft products; experience with multi-line phones and public contact is preferred.


LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must possess ability to read, analyze, interpret and organize general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Must be able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals in a professional manner. Must have ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of employees, managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
