As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward thinking, open-minded and well-rounded individuals to join our global team. Located in our Downtown Denver office, you will be responsible for all aspects of customer accounts and cash applications with the exception of order entry.
  • You'll be a part of the Accounts Receivable Department, reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager.
  • You will be assisting and guiding lower level accounts receivable representatives as needed and coordinating discussions with other departments.
Key responsibilities (to name a few):
  • Reviews and monitors delinquent accounts within an assigned customer account portfolio.
  • Completes daily contact with customer A/P associates using various methods (i.e. phone, email, etc.).
  • Documents all portfolio management activities (business-to-business collections).
  • Reviews and/or approves customer orders referred systematically by ERP system requiring manual credit review.
  • Fulfills customer requests for copies of invoices, credit memos and statements.
  • Mediates and facilitates between customer and internal Gates' departments such as Customer Service, Marketing, Distribution and others as needed.
  • Provides various monthly reporting of collections activity for assigned accounts as determined by management.

  • Two year Associate's Degree required with a four year college degree preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of Accounts Receivable experience and/or five years of relevant experience is required.
  • Relocation is not provided
  • Travel is not required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • Prior experience in a high volume portfolio management environment (business-to-business collections) with portfolio values between $15 million to $45 million consisting of 200 to 350 customer accounts.
  • Knowledge and understanding of accounts receivable transaction process flows (i.e. order to cash, full cycle).
  • Conscientious team player who desires to proactively support other team members as needed.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Self-motivator with strong deductive reasoning and reconciliation skills.
  • Strong written and oral interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office with emphasis on Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Prior experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
  • Ability to adapt and learn new technologies and organizational changes quickly.
  • Team player who is able to proactively step in to support other team members as needed.
