Job Description

We are working with a client in the Atlanta area and they are looking for a temporary Billing Coordinator. Right now they are working a hybrid schedule that includes both on site and work from home work. They do have the expectation that at some point they will be back in the office full time. The hours are day shift Monday through Friday. Staffmark offers temporary health benefits, hourly/weekly pay and direct deposit.

Essential Functions

  1. Review new maintenance contracts ensuring billing information from branch corresponds with customer contract and proper signatures.

  2. Setup of new maintenance contracts, ensuring timely processing, assignment of customer numbers and appropriate tax codes.

  3. Generate manual customer maintenance invoices for assigned locations, including calculations for work completed to date and print/separate/mail invoices.

  4. Balance billing on a monthly basis, ensuring all information is entered in the system and that credits/debits are posted to customer account accurately.

  5. Generate monthly report detailing all contract activity for each assigned location.

  6. Coordinate with Accounts Receivable all money applied to invoices

  7. Investigate and revise, when necessary, any incorrect bills, reviewing accounts to determine if credit is needed including customer or sales rep correspondence for credit requests

  8. Process price increases each month or coordination with branches on customers excluded from price increase.

  9. Handle multiple responsibilities in a fast paced environment with the ability to prioritize and execute.

  10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Education and Experience

  1. High school diploma or GED (general education degree); one year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training in basic business administration; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  2. Oracle database knowledge is a plus
  3. 1+ years of billing experience
  4. Solid understanding of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
  5. Able to work in a team environment
  6. Good Multi tasking and communication skills are a must
