Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Executes order fulfillment through pick, pack, and ship process.

  • Coordinates carrier pickups and executes shipment documentation.

  • Assemble work order kits and issue materials to production orders as needed.

  • Receives shipments into the company database and forwards paperwork to accounting.

  • Maintains receiving logs and paperwork files.

  • Researches and resolves receiving problems with the carrier and/or Buyer/Planners.

  • Routes materials to IQA and other locations using Material Transfer forms and transactions.

  • Maintains stockroom, loading dock and oversize material stocking locations.

  • Stocks and cycle counts materials on hand and reports on inventory accuracy.

  • Reviews inventory of excess and obsolete items, disposes items as needed.

  • Follows safety, health and quality requirements and performs other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

a. Required:

  • 2-4 years of shipping, receiving, stock room control experience using a computerized inventory system.

  • Must possess valid Wisconsin driver’s license and safe driving record.

  • Inventory control, work order kitting and cycle counting knowledge.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to resolve issues with other departments.

  • International shipment preparation and tracking knowledge required.

  • Must be organized and have attention to detail.

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work a physically active position with frequent climbing of ladders, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.

  • Experience with safety and quality system requirements (OSHA, FDA, ISO).

 

b. Preferred or Desired

  • Fork Lift and pallet jack operation training /certification preferred.

  • Experience driving box truck.
