Preschool Classroom Supervisor, Pittsburgh, PA
The Allegheny Intermediate Unit is seeking a Supervisor of Preschool Classrooms to work at the Central Office located in Homestead. We are looking for compassionate and motivated Supervisor to join our team of professionals who make a positive difference in student’s lives every day. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced professional environment, this is the position for you!
Position Summary:
This position is accountable for the supervision of classroom education staff and field administrators as
well as a field secretary and the day-to-day operations for classrooms.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s Degree and PA teaching certificate in Early Childhood Education or related field
2. Supervisory experience required. Supervisory certificate preferred
3. Knowledge of best practices related to preschool curricula, instruction, standards, screenings and
assessments
4. Successful experience working with at-risk children and families
