Operation of a PIT (Powered Industrial Truck)
Powered Industrial Truck Operator Forklift Operator:
Responsible for operation of hand or power industrial trucks performing warehouse duties and utilizing equipment.
This may include forklift (standing and sitting) electric pallet jacks. Load and unload trailers
Pick and prepare product for shipment.
Use of RF scan gun.
Performs inventory, labeling of products, moves product from staged area to into inventory, identifies product based on product code, move pallets to stretch wrap machine and wrap pallets for shipment.
Inspect lift truck before and after each shift.
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow direction of supervisors
Overtime and weekend work will be rare but may be needed several times each year for inventory.
