Administrative Analyst / Legal Clerk

Assist in clerking assessment appeals hearings before the Hearing Officer (HO). Maintain the order and flow of appealshearings. Offer interpretation and guidance to the Hearing Officer in accordance with Revenue and Taxation Code (R&T
code), property tax rules, and Assessment Appeals Board rules; prepares and reviews appeal case files for hearingsbefore the Hearing Officer; advise the Hearing Officer on the validity of an appeal and/or issue/fact being addressed on an
appeal application as requested. Verify that all issues are addressed at the hearing and that the Hearing OfficerRecommendation Report is complete and accurate. Prepare final case files for Board review and approval.
Strong clerical and organizational skills, good communication skills to provide effective customer service, and ability to multi-task
