Job Description
Title: Business Intelligence Administrator

Location: Sterling Heights, MI

Duration: 6 months plus contract to hire

PAY: 50 – 55hr

Industry: Military Vehicles / DOD / ARMY / CLEARABLE

The Business Intelligence Administrator will be responsible for overall administration of the Business Intelligence environment and should be able to assist the Developers, System Admins and Database Admins in day to day operations of the BI environment.

Responsibilities include:
Installation/upgrading and configuration of all components of OBIEE and Cognos
Develop, support and maintain ETL processes.
Strong Oracle PL/SQL experience
Apply security patches and manage user access to OBIEE and BI Publisher environment
Strong understanding of Star Schema optimization and Dimensional Modeling of complex data structures to support analytical reporting needs.
Administration of Cognos, OBIEE, BI Publisher and Weblogic in a Linux environment
Utilize best practices for performance and tuning for Cognos, OBIEE and BI Publisher
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot log files
Resolve production issues within Cognos, OBIEE and applicable components
Ability to work closely with vendor professional services to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
Support data warehouses
Support SOX and other audit requirements

Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS

REQUIRED Experience:
Business Intelligence Administration: 5 years (Preferred)
Oracle BI Publisher Administration: 3 years (Preferred)
Sr BI Administrator: 6+ years relevant work experience required
Experience with Oracle, SQL Server
Experience with change management related to BI objects
Development experience working with Cognos, OBIEE, or others preferred
Knowledge of Oracle SQL development techniques, including PL/SQL preferred
O/S & Network: Linux, Windows
Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry preferred, but not required
Agile Experience preferred
