What success looks like in this role:

IT Specialist III, Unisys Corporation, Elk Grove, CA.

Responsible for computer systems data storage architecture. Design, implement and manage various storage technologies (Dell-EMC, HPE, Hitachi and Netapp) for local and remote datacenters. Deploy cloud management platform services for storage using private and public cloud integration. Perform complex data migration activities in multi-vendor storage environment using storage and host based migration technologies. Design, implement and manage enterprise class storage solution for Unisys clearpath mainframe and forward servers. Performance analysis of storage arrays and san fabric using tools available from vendors. Design, implement and support disaster recovery solution for clients hosted at Unisys datacenters. Publish build-to and review the as-built documentation for current and new storage and backup related design deployments. Work closely with the project management team starting from plan, design, and implement up until steady state support has achieved. Work closely with datacenter operations team to co-ordinate storage hardware installation and maintenance activities with vendors. Prepare client specific systems documentations, storage reports, operational guides and share with client account team and service delivery manager. Must have the ability to analyze and evaluate complex issues and requirements along with proving architect solutions for complex environments. Travel and work at client sites as assigned. The position is 100% remote.

Minimum Requiremen:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), Information Systems or a directly related field, plus 8 years overall experience in IT Services and Systems Management.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Experience must also include:

Six (6) years of experience in the following:

• Storage management
• San switch fabric administration
• Emc unity/vnx/clariion family configuration and administration
• Emc powermax/vmax/dmx family configuration and administration

Five (5) years of experience in the following:

• Emc recover point implementation and administration
• Emc srdf/time finder implementation and administration

Three (3) years of experience in the following:

• Storage implementation and administration for mainframe systems
• Design and implementation of solutions and migrations around emc unity, vnx, powermax, vmax, clariion and dmx arrays

• Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, 9am - 5pm
