Manual Machine Adjuster

Job Description
Paper converting equipment facility needs Career minded individuals to learn to set-up and adjust their sophisticated manual machines. This involves a six month paid training program on 1st shift and then move to 2nd or 3rd shift. This equipment is high speed production equipment, nothing similar to CNC machining. Previous paper converting equipment experience a big Plus! Trouble-shoot, adjust, and operate manual machines made up of gears, pulleys, motors, bearings, belts, cams and cam followers. Must be very good with hand tools, above average math skills and ability to analyze and troubleshoot mechanical issues and problems. Some assistance with material handling and PM's also expected. We provide "On the job Training" and supervision during your first few months. If you have auto mechanic experience or above average Mechanical Aptitude we want to talk to you. We look at people with a solid work history and can pass a drug screen and background check.
