SENIOR SYSTEMS ENGINEER
SOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN - WORLD HEADQUARTERS

As a member of the Electronics Systems Engineering team, the Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Working with external customer and internal project teams to specify, clarify, confirm and manage all product/system level requirements in customer and advanced development projects, including functional safety and cybersecurity
  • Working together with hardware and software engineering to define optimal electronic hardware architectures, including microcontroller and peripheral chipset selection
  • Allocating and/or partitioning system requirements between hardware and software, and supporting the development of product hardware/software integration specifications


The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Technical requirement review, analysis and elaboration
  • Collaboration with Hardware and Software Engineering
  • Issue investigation and support

Your Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in the development of embedded systems
  • 3+ years of experience in systems engineering, application development, and system validation
  • Passion for relentlessly working with engineering teams to solve complex technical problems and ensure product quality
  • Experience with DOORs, JIRA, Enterprise Architect or equivalent tools
  • B.S.E. in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Compute Science required
  • Fluent in English


Bonus If You Have:

Automotive electronics experience
ASPICE development process and ISO26262 experience
