Job Description
At Trident Maritime Systems- Heavy Equipment Group, we don’t just build systems—we build careers!  As leaders in the Marine/Defense industry, we’re looking for innovative, forward-thinking professionals who want to tackle complex challenges and create real-world solutions. We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our Rhinelander, WI Team!  This position will perform various types of maintenance work to all areas of the plant location, including machines, equipment and facilities.

MAJOR  DUTIES:
  • Maintenance to building such as snow removal, minor grounds keeping, interior remodeling, lamping replacement, routing of computer and phone cables, installation of air lines, electrical drops, minor plumbing, painting, etc.
  • Communicate daily or hourly with your Team Leader pending on the issues at hand that day.
  • Maintenance to equipment in accordance with procedures and minor equipment installation.
  • Proficient in preventative maintenance practices.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Works with minimal supervision. Must be able to follow and or prioritize schedule based on workload.
  • Ability to use specialty tools and equipment to complete in-depth repairs. Multi-Meter, Torque wrenches, Micrometer, Gear or Bearing Pullers.
  • Manufactures and designs various aids to manufacturing.
  • Ability to maintain all plant systems.
  • General maintenance of plant equipment including CNC, welding, paint equipment, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE  PREFERRED/SPECIAL  NOTES:
  • 2+ years electromechanical background

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Various positions including squatting, bending, standing, climbing, and sitting. May lift large and heavy parts up to 60 pounds.
