Trade Center Management Associates (TCMA, a Drew Company), the exclusive manager of the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, is seeking a Sales and Event Planning Assistant to join our team.
The Sales and Event Planning Assistant supports the Sales and Event Planning team by handling various administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations. This role requires proficiency in sales administration and the ability to manage requests, generate reports, and assist with event coordination.
Job Responsibilities
Draft contracts for Sales Managers and Coordinators.
Assist Event Planners with Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and Floor Plans.
Create client materials (signage, menu cards, etc.).
Provide front desk coverage and event support as needed.
Handle special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Flexible scheduling, including occasional early mornings, evenings, and weekends based on event needs
Manage and generate daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports (e.g., 21-Day, 90-Day, BEO Tracking, Event Count, VIP Alerts).
Track requests for services (TAS, K9, security, etc.).
Maintain logs for inquiries, lost business, and contract production.
Oversee Client Surveys and Point of Contact Sheets.
Background and Skills
5+ years of experience in an administrative or sales support role.
Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience interacting with cross-functional teams.
Experience in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to adapt to changing tasks.
Highly organized, efficient, and comfortable with ambiguity.
Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow.
