Position Summary: The position of Director, Mission Integration is a full-time appointment. The Director is a member of the leadership team and works collaboratively to develop and implement strategic initiatives designed to instill Felician-Franciscan core values and a commitment to the Felician mission.
The Director of Mission Integration will provide leadership, direction, and management concerning Faith Formation programs at St. Joseph Academy. Will develop and implement activities and provide resources. Will also serve to provide leadership and programs that advance the mission, values and expectations, and goals of St. Joseph Academy.
Reports to: CEO/President
Qualifications:
Candidates must be a practicing Catholic and in good standing with the Roman Catholic Church;
Some education in Theology, Religious studies, or related field;
Demonstrated experience in catechetical/ministry leadership within a parish, diocesan or educational environment;
Comprehensive knowledge of Catholic principles, values, and social teaching;
Proven experience in and ability to foster interfaith dialogue and activities;
Demonstrated experience working with a diverse population from a variety of cultural/ethnic/religious backgrounds;
Superior ability to develop, lead and motivate collaborative with diverse teams;
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills;
Expertise in creating and delivering effective presentations;
Skill with word processing and presentation software;
Proven ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office applications, Outlook and key social media platforms.
Bachelors Degree
Masters preferred but not required
10+ years related experience with proven leadership experience
Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems
Excellent interpersonal relations skills
Exhibits sound and accurate judgment with the ability to make timely decisions
Detail oriented; ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and meet deadlines
Must possess a valid Wisconsin driver’s license and have reliable transportation
Physical and Mental Requirements:
(Occasionally 1% - 33% of time; frequently 34% - 66% of time; continuously 67% - 100% of time): Occasionally - lifting up to 25 pounds, Rarely – lifting over 25 pounds, Occasionally – walking and standing, Continuously – sitting, Frequently – hand manipulation / dexterity when writing, using PC, and using other office equipment, occasionally – bending and reaching
Environmental Conditions:
Occasional exposure to infectious or communicable diseases inherent to care of ill children, occasional exposure to loud or unpleasant voices due to unpredictable behavior of children and seasonal exposure to high humidity due to temperature control of the facility.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Director, Mission Integration is responsible for performing other duties as assigned consistent with the overall responsibility to elevate mission across every sector of St. Joseph Academy.
Serve as a member of the leadership team to collaborate in the integration of the Mission and Core Values in all aspects of operations; i.e., strategic planning, policy development, leadership/staff development, and finance/budget;
Initiate and assure completion of the creation and implementation of the Mission Integration Plan, supported by the President;
Develop, implement, lead, and coordinate the mission integration and ministry formation programs;
Identify and develop quantitative and qualitative assessment tools to measure program effectiveness;
Collaborate with and support the President in the integration of the Mission and Core Values in the daily operations of St. Joseph Academy;
Maintain an active and visible presence at St. Joseph Academy, especially among those being served to promote the development of, spiritual growth and reflection regardless of their faith affiliation, as well as for people with no religious beliefs at all;
Assure Mission and Core Values orientation and ongoing programs are provided for the Board Members, Administration, Staff, and Volunteers as appropriate;
Ensure the employee's quality of service and behaviors are congruent with the mission and values of the Felician Sisters’ for St. Joseph Academy.
Represent SJA with community partners, contacts and at community meetings.
Promote SJA to schools, parishes, and other community leaders and organizations.
Assist in new employee orientation as requested
Collaborate on the completion of reports, as required, and ensure documents are prepared and presented in a professional manner.
Develop and implement religious education program
Oversee curriculum selection for religious education program evaluate and monitor student progress
Appropriately train and supervise catechists
Assures each family’s and employee’s right to privacy and confidentiality, at all times
Ensure quality of service and behaviors are congruent with the mission and values of the ministry
Form collaborations with various parishes to support students with the reception of sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist
Communicates verbally and in writing all pertinent information to support the religious education program
Communicates pertinent information with members of the team and appropriate departments to ensure response to requests, concerns, or issues
Maintain necessary clerical information regarding each student and family
Attend diocesan training opportunities
Shows support for school functions by attending Open House, School Board/Parent Meetings, etc.
Participates in meetings to improve communication and problem solving, as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
