Job Description
Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center (RRB/ITC) is a dynamic hub for government, business, commerce and the community, in the heart of the nation’s capital. As the first and only federal building dedicated to both public and private use, the Reagan Building is the official World Trade Center Washington, DC, featuring a premier conference and events center, executive office space, attractions and exhibits, retail, dining, parking and public programming.  

Trade Center Management Associates (TCMA, A Drew Company), the exclusive manager of the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, is seeking a Building Events Planning and Operations Assistant to join our Operations team.

Essential Functions
  • Interacts with Sales and Event Planning teams with regards to upcoming events.
  • Set-up event spaces for upcoming scheduled client move in for electrical requirement for the events. 
  • Oversee small and large event related electrical set-ups and tear down.
  • Responds to and troubleshoots any electrical needs and requests as directed by the Events department.
  • Conduct building and event spaces inspections and submit the work orders. Conduct site visits with planners.
  • Responsible for the fulfillment of internal work orders not limited to but including, painting, carpet tiles, woodworking, furniture repair, flag hanging, etc.
  • Attend BEO meetings, Operations meetings and other company meetings.
  • Filing, copying and faxing of important documents for companies that need access to the building to make deliveries and or pick-ups.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Must have a High School Diploma
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in building maintenance operations with basic understanding of repairs, painting and electrical needs
  • Experience with client and staff interaction.
  • Must be able to work a flex schedule, (evenings and weekends) during major events and when needed.
Environment
  • Must be able to perform general physical labor, which will include lifting up 50 lbs and kneeling and bending for the installation of the electrical requirements of the event set up
