SRT is seeking a Customer Billing Rep to join our Customer Billing team. The Customer Billing Rep will assist the department in accurately completing service orders to bill for products and services while providing superior customer service for our telecommunication’s cooperative members.

Job Responsibilities Include:
  • Respond to customer inquiries such as rates, service charges, program packages, SmartHub and MySRT app, online and phone payments, EFT setup, and requests for duplicate bills.
  • Create and process business & residential service order tasks. Review all service orders for information completion and accuracy. Close all service orders.
  • Participate in ongoing training to keep abreast of technical developments and the skills needed to perform the job.
  • Assist in the development of processes and procedures to improve and enhance performance and operational effectiveness.

Job Qualifications Include:
  • Work requires excellent communication and teamwork skills to provide superior experience for customers and co-workers.
  • Work requires the ability to use multiple software systems with efficiency, attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • Ability to learn and maintain product knowledge to assist customers and process billing records accurately.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, organize, prioritize, multi-task, and complete various work assignments on time.
  • High School Diploma at minimum
  • 1-3 years telecommunications experience preferred.
  • 2 years of customer service or related experience required.
