Job Description
Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center (RRB/ITC) is a dynamic hub for government, business, commerce and the community, in the heart of the nation’s capital. As the first and only federal building dedicated to both public and private use, the Reagan Building is the official World Trade Center Washington, DC, featuring a premier conference and events center, executive office space, attractions and exhibits, retail, dining, parking and public programming.  

Trade Center Management Associates (TCMA, A Drew Company), the exclusive manager of the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. The Senior Accountant will assist the Chief Financial Officer and Controller in performing and overseeing accounting functions for multiple organizations.

Essential Functions
  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare monthly and annual financial statements
  • Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
  • Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met
  • Perform monthly close procedures accurately and timely with Controller
  • Financial audit preparation and coordination
  • Input general journal entries as well as some payables transactions
  • Perform monthly bank and general ledger reconciliations
  • Enter/maintain info in client database
  • Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles, economic principles, auditing practices and principles
  • Three years of related accounting experience or education
  • Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, especially Excel.  Microsoft Dynamics GP experience a plus
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication abilities with strong interpersonal skills to follow-up effectively with all levels of staff
