Job Description
Manage information flows and develop tools to ensure that scheduled production goals are met. Plan, schedule, direct and assist with executing production activities in all cells. Continuously improve the process and problem solve.

Education:
  • AA Degree or equivalent vocational certificate in a technical program or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of production coordination or administrative specialist experience 
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel
  • APICS/CPM certification, preferred
  • Experience with continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing, preferred
  • Ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers in a team environment
  • Strong computer, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Business acumen and strong commitment to quality
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates the implementation of activities to meet goals, quality, and cost objectives; proactively plans manpower, facility, and equipment needs based on production schedule
  • Sets daily goals through development and maintenance of Cell Boards and assures performance to the schedule; generates detailed reporting for daily production updates
  • Ensures the correct work layout and skill set is in place
  • Ensures all Production activities are in compliance with ISO standards and procedures
  • Works with Production Manager and others to identify and address inefficiencies and opportunities for cost reduction as well as process improvements to improve quality and on time delivery
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
