Job Description
The Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center (RRB/ITC) is a dynamic hub for government, business, commerce and the community, in the heart of the nation’s capital. As the first and only federal building dedicated to both public and private use, the RRB/ITC is the official World Trade Center Washington, DC, featuring a premier conference and events center, executive office space, attractions and exhibits, retail, dining, parking and public programming.  
Trade Center Management Associates (TCMA, A Drew Company), the exclusive manager of the RRB/ITC, is seeking a talented International Marketing and Promotion Manager to join our team.  This position is a management level public facing role responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, prospecting new business and organizing programs and activities for the WTCDC. You will be part of team tasked with developing and executing programs to support the organization’s strategic goals and GSA measures. To be successful in this role, you will need to have prior experience in business development, stakeholder management, client relations, sponsorship management, marketing and communications.

Job Responsibilities
  • Promote WTCDC and TCMA initiatives. Create strategies to incorporate WTCDC mission and goals to align with clients’ event mission, goals and objectives
  • Support the WTCDC departmental measures in meeting GSA monthly metrics, marketing, and promotional goals
  • Support division VP on the development of WTCDC Club and other special projects
  • Analyze risk and promotion opportunities for event leads and strategic partnerships  
  • Support division VP on community outreach initiatives and programming
  • Draft, aggregate and support the development of monthly departmental government reporting recapping department activities, collaborations, business development, key goals and project updates for reports.
  • Provide support as needed on USTDA projects   
  • Support the initiatives of the World Trade Centers Association on behalf of the WTCDC
Marketing:
  • Serve as the liaison with the TCMA Marketing Department to advance key projects, partnerships, social media campaigns and facilitate open and continuous communication between the two teams
  • Develop concepts to further the department’s promotion exchanges, brand and goals
  • Manage all digital platforms for the WTCDC team including: Constant Contact, Asana, Internal drive, World Trade Center Association (WTCA) Digital Platform
  • Create and curate compelling marketing content, including but not limited to collateral  pieces, blog posts, social media updates ( develop ideas for videos, and other multimedia materials, tailored to international audiences)
  • Compile and coordinate with the Marketing team a calendar of sponsored events and maximize promotion efforts
  • Manage marketing and promotion of each sponsored event to ensure optimized brand presence
Public Relations/Partnership Management
  • Develop and manage relationship with key members in partner organizations to support mutual partnership goals
  • Support and develop promotion exchanges to further the goals of the office
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders, including executives, clients, and team members, to provide updates on program progress and address any issues or concerns
  • Assist in planning and coordination efforts for sponsored events internally and externally with program partners
  • Ensure seamless communication between the Sales and Marketing departments keeping all internal colleagues informed of sponsorship exchanges, client touchpoints, interactions, VIPs, key agenda items
  • Track internal contract process
  • Support event protocol needs
Business Development
  • Develop partnership strategy and align customized programs and sponsorship commitments
  • Attend various community events and prospect event leads, key community members and develop solid understanding of key stakeholders in order to further department goals
  • Work closely with the Sales department to develop possible inside leads for partnership
  • Support clients as they develop new ideas/concepts and offer input on how it can be supported by the WTCDC
  • Consult walk-in (or call-in) clients on available WTCDC resources and mission
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (marketing, PR, business administration, international business)
  • 5+ years of public relations, public affairs, marketing, or communications experience
  • Experience in SharePoint a plus
  • Strong professional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Passionate about client mission and vision, and determined to lead and accomplish all goals related to current and future strategic plans
  • Strong attention to detail with a high standard for quality work product
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing strategies for the department
  • Understanding of and comfortable in a global environment with groups and individuals from different cultures and business traditions
  • Passion for exceptional collaboration, and flexibility to do what it takes to elevate positive culture
