The Accountant is responsible for reporting of accounting/inventory related activity and variance analysis.

- Provides daily reporting of inventory related activities
- Analyze and validate FIFO system calculations
- Explain and analyze inventory variances and impact to accounting
- Perform End of Month activities for inventory and other tasks as required
- Create and process journal entries as required
- Assist in quarterly/yearly related inventory functions
- Support other as needed accounting functions in a back-up capacity
- Fixed asset maintenance and tracking
- Internal / External Audit support
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Accounting related areas
- Minimum of 3 years related experience
- Good knowledge of GAAP
- Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
- Knowledge of MRP systems
- Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Inter, intra and external departmental contact required
- Ability to obtain a Government clearance, if necessary
