We are currently looking for an individual with experience and an understanding of electrical and/or mechanical testing gained through formal studies or previous work experience to fill the position of Manager/Senior Manager of Accreditation. The position is based out of our Fort Wayne, IN office but a remote work environment may be approved. This position will have a significant role and direct impact on the assessment and accreditation of ANAB laboratories. Overnight travel is required, including domestic and potential international travel.

Candidates will have:
A Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited university or college. A graduate degree is preferred.
Three or more years of conformity assessment, standardization, and/or testing experience is required. Prior experience with laboratory accreditation or certification is desirable. Twelve or more years of related experience, including the understanding and application of quality management could substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
A strong scientific and technical background in fields of study such as electrical engineering or mechanical engineering are preferred. Other fields of study may be considered.
Experience leading a team, managing people and leading projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to balance respect, decisiveness, diplomacy and tact when dealing with others.
Integrity and confidence and professional demeanor
Understanding of quality principles.
Proficiency with Windows, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to gain an understanding of ANAB’s management systems and associated tools.
Excellent organizational and presentation skills.
The ability to prioritize projects and give attention to detail while providing excellent customer service.
Understanding of the accreditation business, products, markets, personnel, outside influencers, etc.
Demonstrated capacity to embrace continuous learning and change.
Ability to manage work under pressure and work within a team to solve problems.
