Our internship program provides a realistic view of what it’s like to work at McHugh through hands-on experiences working in project management, engineering, safety, and warranty. Through our 12-week internship program you’ll be able to strengthen your resume and set the foundation for your professional career. You’ll get exposure to the complete life cycle of a construction project by working alongside our estimating, field and project management teams, and you will have the chance to make a real impact on McHugh projects. In addition, you will have the opportunity to build relationships throughout the organization through activities such as jobsite tours and company events.

Example of Responsibilities:
Draft/track RFIs and submittals, distribute responses to all involved parties, maintain status report.
Create/maintain revisions log of contract documents to ensure team members are kept up to date.
Assist with bid-cycle: provide quantity take offs, distribute bid packages, follow-up phone calls.
Record keeping and document control.
Additional duties as needed.
Students going into their sophomore, junior or senior year engineering, safety, or construction major.
